If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your road bike, changing your riding style or simply want to experience the latest Giant and Liv road bikes, Giant Dublin’s Road Bike Demo Day is the perfect opportunity to try them for yourself.

Taking place on Sunday 30th August from 10am to 4pm at Corkagh Park Cycle Track, the Demo Day will give riders the chance to test a selection of Giant and Liv road bikes in a safe, traffic-free environment.

Ride Before You Decide

Choosing a new road bike can be a big decision. Geometry, handling, comfort and riding position can feel very different from one model to another, and there’s no substitute for actually getting on the bike and riding it.

That’s exactly what the Giant Dublin Demo Day is about.

Whether you're looking for an endurance bike for long sportives, a lightweight climbing and all-round machine, or an aerodynamic bike built for speed, you'll be able to compare the different options and discover which bike feels right for you.

Liv Road Bikes for the Ladies

We’ll have three of Liv’s leading road bike platforms available to try:

Liv Avail

Designed around endurance, comfort and versatility, the Avail is an excellent choice for long days in the saddle, sportives and riders who want performance without an overly aggressive riding position.

Liv Langma

Light, responsive and built for performance, the Langma is designed for riders who want a fast all-round road bike. It’s equally at home climbing, descending or pushing the pace on faster group rides.

Liv Enviliv

For riders who love speed, the Enviliv brings Liv’s aerodynamic road technology to the fore. It combines aero efficiency with responsive handling for riders looking for a fast and exciting road bike.

Giant Defy

The Defy is Giant’s endurance road bike, designed to combine speed with comfort over long distances. If sportives, long club spins and big days in the Wicklow hills are your thing, the Defy is well worth trying.

A Safe Place to Test the Bikes


One of the big advantages of holding the Demo Day at Corkagh Park Cycle Track is the opportunity to concentrate on the bike without dealing with normal road traffic.

You can get a proper feel for the riding position, acceleration, braking, cornering and general handling while comparing the different Giant and Liv platforms.

The Giant Dublin team will also be available throughout the day to talk through the differences between the bikes and help you identify which model and style of bike best suits your riding.

Make a Day of It

The event runs from 10am until 4pm, and light refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Demo rides are free, and riders can either book a bike in advance or simply turn up on the day.

If there’s a particular model or size you really want to ride, booking ahead is recommended to give you the best chance of getting time on your preferred bike.
